How to make it

Step 02Squeeze half a lime over the mint. Add ice. Pour the cold brew over the ice slowly — you want layers, not turbulence.
Step 03Add the sparkling water last. Stir once gently. Garnish with a mint sprig and serve immediately — the fizz dissipates fast.
Pro tips
Use Egyptian baladi mint, not the Moroccan kind — the oils are more pungent and stand up to the coffee.
For a non-fizzy version, replace sparkling water with cold filtered water + a quarter teaspoon of brown sugar.
